Howard County is more than just a band — it’s the voice of Texas Country, led by award-winning artist Brandon Howard. With a sound rooted in the soul of Southwest Louisiana and seasoned through life across Kansas, Colorado, and North Texas, Brandon brings heartfelt storytelling and Southern grit to every song.
From Gospel to Blues to Country, Brandon’s musical journey started young — writing his first song at just 11 years old. Since then, he’s written over 300 songs, each marked by his deep emotional authenticity and lyrical strength. Recognized as a 2024 Future Face of Texas Country by TRRMA and a Champion of the Texas State Songwriters Association, Brandon continues to redefine modern country music with passion and purpose.
Backed by his powerhouse band, Howard County delivers high-energy live performances and studio recordings that connect with fans across generations.

Howard County is Texas Country Artist Brandon Howard & his band. He brings a unique sound that goes back to his roots in Southwest Louisiana. Brandon grew up singing Gospel, Blues, and Country, later moving to Kansas and Colorado, and eventually settling in North Texas. Brandon wrote his first song when he was 11 years old and has penned more than 300 songs.
